How to travel to Yazd

It’s 650 km from Tehran to Yazd and you can take a train (7-8 hours), bus (7-8 hours) or flight (1 hour)
Get tickets from a local travel agency well in advance. 
Yazd weather

Spring starts around the end of March up until June and it’s usually warm with little chance of rain.
Men are advised to put on a shirt and a light jacket just in case when they travel to Yazd.
Ladies are advised to wear a light jacket over their dress when they visit Yazd.

Summer starts from July, August and September and it’s usually hot with no chance of rain.
Men are advised to wear a T-shirt and a hat.
Ladies are advised to wear a light dress.

Fall starts from October, November and December and it’s usually cool with little chance of rain.
Men are advised to put on a shirt and a light jacket just in case.
Ladies are advised to wear a light jacket over their dress.

Winter starts from January, February and March and it’s usually pleasantly cold with some chances of rain.
Men are advised to wear a jacket or a raincoat and a hat.
